Schneider - 50th
Gene and Lila Schneider of Wichita celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on July 26, 2005.
Eugene and Lila J. (Morgenstern) Schneider were married July 26, 1955, at St. Rose Church in Great Bend, with Monsignor Cody officiating.
Mr. Schneider retired in March 2001 from the experimental department with Cessna Aircraft after 44 years of service.
Mrs. Schneider retired in April 2004 as a real estate secretary after 20 years of service.
The couple have three children: Charles of Garrison, Iowa, Teresa of Wichita and Sara Dwyer of Wichita; and one granddaughter, Savannah Schneider of Wichita.

Brack - 60th
Eudale and Magdalene Brack of Otis will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with an open house reception from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sept. 11, 2005 at the Otis Cafe, on Main Street in Otis. Family and friends are invited to celebrate with them.
The honorees request no gifts. Magdalene Tuzicka and Eudale Brack were married Sept. 12, 1945, in the Trinity Lutheran Church in Otis.
Hosts for the occasion will be their children: Roger and Sharon Brack and Darla and Terry Hanks of Otis; and grandchildren: LaChelle and Ryan Fitzmorris, and Shawna Hanks, all of Hays, and Shannon Brack of Great Bend.
Dugan - 50th
Duane and Roberta Dugan of Great Bend are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with a public reception from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sept. 17, 2005 at the Highland Hotel Heritage Room.
Duane Dugan and Roberta Simpson were married Sept. 17, 1955, at Fort Scott.
The couple has lived in Great Bend for the last 40 years. Duane Dugan was employed by the City of Great Bend in the police department for 11 years and was police chief from 1972 to 1976.
He retired from the Kansas Alcohol Beverage Control as a liquor control investigator after 16 years’ service.
He also drove a school bus for Unified School District 428 and is now driving part-time for the Juvenile Justice Authority.
Roberta Dugan was employed by the City of Great Bend as a crossing guard and worked at Boogarts grocery store and ALCO discount store.
Then she worked with the Argonne Rebels, traveling with and feeding drum corps members and running the Bingo Hall.
She is now employed by USD 428 Central Kitchen as a food service manager at Eisenhower School.
Hosts for the reception are the couple’s children: Craig and Pam Dugan of Wichita and Debra Goering of Great Bend.
The couple has one deceased child named Dana Dugan.
The couple also has eight grandchildren: Chris and Rachael Dugan and Aaron, Adrienne, Lauren, Andrew, Ian and Keaton.
