Hensley - 40th
Leroy and Anna Faye Hensley of Great Bend are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary.
Leroy Hensley and the former Anna Faye Gastineau were married Sept. 17, 1965, at the First United Methodist Church in Woodward, Okla.
Leroy Hensley is the maintenance supervisor for the Great Bend School District and Anna Faye Hensley recently retired as secretary at Jefferson Elementary.
The couple has a son, Kent, and daughter-in-law, Shelly, and their children, Bailey and Dalton, all of Ellis; and a daughter, Kim, of Kansas City, Mo.
Neeland - 50th
Paul and Bernice Neeland of Great Bend will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sept. 11, 2005 at the Knights of Columbus, 723 Main, Great Bend.
Paul Neeland and Bernice Stoss were married Sept. 7, 1955, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Olmitz.
Neeland is a retired farmer and was the Larned-Pawnee County Airport Manager for 20 years.
She is a sales associate with Coldwell Banker-Sell Real Estate.
The couple requests no gifts.
The couple’s children are: Craig and Sheryl Neeland of Great Bend; Diane King and husband, James, of Pittsburg; Patricia Bryant and husband, Patrick, of Salina; and Steve and Lisa Neeland of Great Bend.
The couple has 11 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Tiede - 50th
Harold and Wilma Tiede are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with a card shower and reception.
Harold Tiede and Wilma Jean Wiehe were married on Sept. 10, 1955, in Wentworth, Mo., living in Great Bend during their marriage.
Tiede is retired from Midwest Energy in Great Bend. She is a homemaker.
The couple’s five sons will host a reception for the couple from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sept. 11, 2005 at the Great Bend Senior Center.
The couple’s five sons and their spouses are: Bruce and Nancy Tiede of Parsons; Brian and Gayle Tiede of Great Bend; Charles and Christi Tiede of Hays; Harold Dean and Stacy Tiede of Hoisington; and Brenton Tiede of Great Bend.
They also have eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
