Teichmann - 50th
Merle D. and Marilyn Teichmann, rural Hudson, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with their children and grandchildren. Merle and the former Marilyn Walter were married Sept. 26, 1954. Mr. Teichmann is a farmer. Mrs. Teichmann is employed by St. John/Hudson USD 350 as secretary of the Ida Long Goodman Memorial Library. Their children and spouses are Terri and Wayne DeWerff of Ellinwood, Lori and Aaron Hurst of Burrton, and Shawn and Judy Teichmann of Hutchinson. They have seven grandchildren. Lawrence - 50th
JoAnn Montgomery and Howard Lawrence were married on Oct. 5, 1954, at Kinsley Methodist Church in Kinsley. The couple is celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 4 to 7 p.m. on Oct. 2, 2004 at the Community Building in Albert. The reception will be hosted by the couple’s family and friends. Mr. Lawrence retired from Natural Gas Pipeline Company of America. Mrs. Lawrence is retired from Central Kansas Medical Center. The couple has four children; Bruce Lawrence of Albert, Shirley and Jon Deege of Kinsley, Brent and Leanna Lawrence of Columbia, Mo. and the late Sue Ann Lawrence. The couple also has seven grandchildren.
Kaiser - 50th
Leo and Marilyn Kaiser celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a private family mass and family dinner on Sept. 25, 2004. They were married at Holy Name Catholic Church at Bushton by Father James J. Roth on Sept. 25, 1954. Hosting the celebration are their children: Bob and Mary Pryor of Great Bend, Terry and Donella Zink of McPherson, Don and Angela Clutter of Hoisington, Jon and Ruth Kaiser of Ellinwood. Their grandchildren and families are: Kevin and Wendy Lockwood, Thomas and Ethan; Kevin and Shelly Arnberger, Curtis and Tory; Mike and Marla Pryor and Hunter, all of Great Bend; Tony and Tiffany Zink, Colton and Callie; Chris and Tammie Steiner, Bryce and Kacee all of Claflin; Chance Clutter of Boston, Mass.; Kelly Clutter of Kansas City; Lyndsay Clutter of Mesquite, Texas; Travis Kaiser of Manhattan and Ashley Kaiser of Ellinwood.
