Connie Rene Feist of Wichita, daughter of Mary Feist of Great Bend and the late John Feist, and Michael Eugene Russell of Wichita, son of Cliff and Laurie Russell and Diane and David Keene, all of Wichita, were united in marriage on June 26, 2004.
The double ring ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Vance Cauthon and the Rev. Bob Feist, brother of the bride, at Evangel Assembly of God Church in Wichita.
The bride was given in marriage by her mother, Mary Fiest, and her brother, Doug Feist.
She wore a silky lace gown with a semi-cathedral train accentuated with intricate beading.
The bride also wore a tiara and matching beaded veil.
The bride carried a cascading bouquet of yellow oriental lilies, lavender roses, purple status, yellow soladago, stephanotis, and accents of lily grass.
The bridesmaids wore floor length lavender dresses and carried bouquets of lavender roses.
The matron of honor was Lahna Andrus, sister of the bride.
The bridesmaids were Leanna Parish, sister of the bride, Tammy Steinert, and Missy Midden.
Junior bridesmaids were Janelle and Rebecca Andrus, nieces of the bride.
The best man was Tim Barlow.
The groomsmen were Jerry Feist, brother of the bride, Paul Feist, brother of the bride, and Holmes Andrus, brother-in-law of the bride.
Junior groomsmen were Matthew and Jeremy Russell, brothers of the groom.
The flower girls were Sydney and Makayla Russell, daughters of the groom.
The ring bearers were Brian and Samuel Russell, brothers of the groom.
The ushers were Tony Parish, brother-in-law of the bride, and Frank Henry, uncle of the groom.
The candle lighters were Jennifer and Rachel Feist, nieces of the bride.
Musicians included Kip and Kathy Bloss, vocalists, Karen Gooch, pianist, and Jim Lewis, trumpet player.
The bride is a graduate of Great Bend High School and Oral Roberts University with a bachelor's degree in elementary education.
She is employed by Wichita Public Schools as a third grade teacher.
The groom is a graduate of Circle High School, and Butler County Community College.
He will graduate from Friends University in November with a bachelor's degree in business management.
He is employed as the manager of Toppers Plus in Wichita.
The couple reside in Wichita.
