Boldt - 50th
Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Boldt will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2-4 p.m. on April 5, 2003 at Salem United Methodist Church in rural Bushton. The event will be hosted by their children and grandchildren. Boldt and the former Alnita Shepherd were married on Easter Sunday of 1953 at First Christian Church of Lyons. They have lived southeast of Bushton for 50 years. Their children are Dick and Barbara Boldt of Oakley, Robin and Donna Drumm of Ponca City, Okla., Roger and Deanne Corn of Holyrood and Dennis and Tracy Boldt of Hillsboro. They have seven grandchildren. The couple request no gifts.
Ruppe - 30th
Mike and Cathy Ruppe celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary March 15, 2003 at the Center, Heritage Building in Great Bend. Mike Ruppe and Cathy Coldwater were married March 17, 1973, at Calvary Baptist Church in Ellinwood. Ruppe owns and operates his own heating and air business in Ellinwood and Cathy is employed by USD 355 in Ellinwood. The couple has four children and three grandchildren, Jeff and Marcie Carr and sons, Peyton and Gage, all of Wichita; son Michael and his wife Carrie with daughter, Hunter of Great Bend; and daughter Candra and son Cameron of Ellinwood. Dennis - 50th
Jim and Elizabeth Dennis of Satanta will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a come-and-go open house from 2-4 p.m. on March 9, 2003 at Happy Agers Center, North Main at Satanta. They were married March 8, 1953, at Kendall. The celebration will be hosted by their children, spouses, Cindy and Diane Dennis, both of Wichita, Ken and Janet Dennis of Dighton, b and Stan Rinehart of Sublette. They have six granddaughters.
