Breit - 45th
Ed and Sophie Breit of Hoisington will celebrate their 45th wedding anniversary today. They were married on May 3, 1958, at St. Mary’s Church of Loretto. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kershner of Rush Center will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary May 8, 2003. Kershner and Dorothy Foust were married May 8, 1943, in Delphos. Their children and spouses are Robert and Lois Kershner of Brandon, Fla., Cheryl and Don Summers of La Crosse, Bruce and Ellen Kershner of Rush Center, and Marsha and Ray Coslet of Sioux City, Iowa. The couple has five grandchildren, Shane Summers, Kelly Coslet, Clinton Kershner, Clayton Kershner and Addie Kershner. Their children request a card shower in their honor. Stoskopf - 65th
Willis and Elizabeth Stoskopf of Hoisington will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary on July 10, 2003. They plan to celebrate with a trip to Alaska this summer with their family. Stoskopf and the former Elizabeth McKinstry were married on July 10, 1938, at Hagerman, N.M. He is employed as a farmer. She was a teacher until her retirement. They have two children. They are Beth Lee Flohr and her husband, Wayne of Belton, Texas, and Ruth Dawn Cain and her husband, Sid, of Andover. They have four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
