Feldman - 60th
Harold and Clara Mae Feldman, of Great Bend, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary. They will have an open house from 2-4 p.m. on July 5, 2003 at the Great Bend Senior Center, 2005 Kansas St. Their children and grandchildren will be hosts. Feldman and the former Clara Mae Kurth were married on July 2, 1943, at Ozark, Ala. He was serving in the U.S. Army at Camp Rucker. Following World War II they moved to Great Bend where they still reside. He was the owner-operator of C & S Well Service until his retirement. She graduated from Fort Hays State College and taught school in a one-room schoolhouse in Ford County before their marriage. Later she worked for Western Power Company and Turner and Balloun Law Offices. The couple have two children, Richard Feldman and his wife Jackye, of Burden, and Deanna Thomas and her husband, Tom, of Hays. They have eight grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Bradshaw - 50th
May 31 marked the 50th wedding anniversary for Wilburn and Bobbie Bradshaw of Jetmore. The family will celebrate this event July 12, 2003 at United Presbyterian Church, 303 W. Best, Jetmore. The public is invited to join in the festivities with a “come-and-go” reception from 1 to 4 p.m. Hosts for the occasion will be their nine children, 29 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, family and friends. Allen - 25th
Larry and Debbie Allen of Great Bend will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary on July 15, 2003. Allen and the former Debbie Wondra were married on July 15, 1978, at Great Bend. He is employed by P & S Electric and Roustabout. She is employed by Kansas Gas Service. They have three children, Brandon, Brent and Ethan.
