Bailey - 50th
Donald and Carolyn Bailey of Hoisington will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on June 28, 2003. Bailey and the former Carolyn Simmons were married June 28, 1953, at the First United Methodist Church of Hoisington. Their children and spouses are Ronald and Gail Bailey and Wally and LeAnn Nuss, all of Hoisington and Lee and Sheila Burgess of Sterling. They have 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. LeRoy - 50th
Mr. and Mrs. Bob LeRoy will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary June 28th, 2003 with a reception and dance from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. at the Great Bend Elks Club. Hosts will be their children, Keith and Kathy Riggs, David and Leslie LeRoy and Danny LeRoy, all of Great Bend; and Susan LeRoy of Tulsa, Okla.; and their grandchildren, Eric and Ember Riggs and Katie and Bonnie LeRoy. LeRoy and the former Lou Ann Farmer were married June 28, 1953, at the First Congregational Church in Great Bend. LeRoy is a farmer and she is a homemaker.
Clarke - 50th
Darrell and Alene Clarke of Great Bend will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on June 15, 2003. They will celebrate with a family dinner at Wichita. Clarke and the former Alene Barger were married on June 14, 1953, at Trinity Lutheran Church of Great Bend. The Rev. Arlen Bruns officiated the ceremony. Their children and their families, all of Great Bend, are Brent Clarke, Brian, Kevin, Steven, Christopher and David; Clint and Darla Clarke, Kyle and Jenna; and Monte and Joan Clarke, Matthew and Jessica.
