Christians - 50th
Clarence and Keta Christians will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a come-and-go reception from 2-4 p.m. July 20, 2003 at 172 S. Main in Hoisington. Christians and the former Keta Marquis were married on July 19, 1953, at the Friends Church of Beaver. Hosts for the celebration will be their children Mike Christians and Patti and Manley Madden, all of Great Bend, and Ray and Tina Christians of Hoisington. They have four grandchildren, Brooke Nixon of Great Bend, and Justin Christians, Robin Christians and Scott Christians, all of Hoisington. They have two step-grandchildren, Terry and Angela Madden of Larned and Matt Madden and Kristin Hellerude of Wa Keeney. The couple has one greatgranddaughter, Paxtin Nixon of Great Bend. They also have three step-great-grandsons, Tanner and Dalton Madden of Larned and Brayden Hellerude of Wakeeney. Friends and family are invited to attend the occasion. The couple requests no gifts.
Weis - 50th
Dean and Joyce Weis will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a comeand- go reception from 2-4 p.m. on July 12, 2003 at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 723 Main, Great Bend. The couple was married July 14, 1953, at Colby. Hosts for the celebration will be their children Mike and Karen Weis of Durham, N.C., Jennifer and Robert Reynolds of Guymon, Okla., Debbie and Russ Wood of Spearville, Tim and Diane Weis of Wetmore, Jeff and Annette Weis of Wichita and Nikki and Paul Zamarripa of Great Bend. They have 17 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Stambaugh - 50th
Mr. and Mrs. Weston L. Stambaugh of Great Bend will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 1-4 p.m. on July 19, 2003 at First Church of the Nazarene of Great Bend. Stambaugh and the former Peggy A. Christiansen were married on July 19, 1953. He was employed for 43 years at Foley Tractor Co. She is a homemaker. The event will be hosted by their children, Dale and Jackie Stambaugh of Muskegon, Mich., Jerry and Lisa Stambaugh of Hoisington and Carol and David Keyse and Jay and Rachel Stambaugh, all of Great Bend. They have five grandchildren, Shawn A. Stambaugh, Jessica Stambaugh, Macy Stambaugh and Nash Stambaugh and Kelci Keyse. The couple also has three step-grandchildren, Travis Kaiser, Zack Kaiser and Mackenzie Kaiser. Friends and family are invited to attend the occasion. The couple request no gifts.
