Anschutz - 50th
The children of Dale and Mabel Anschutz wish to honor their parents with a card shower Oct. 11, 2003. The couple have four children, Lois and Gilbert Wenz of Holyrood, Connie and Will Dickinson of Ellsworth, Alan and Kim Anschutz of South Hutchinson and Gale and Lisa Anschutz of Rosehill. The couple have seven grandchildren. Anschutz and the former Mabel Choitz were married Oct. 11, 1953, at St Paul’s Lutheran Church in Ellsworth. They have lived in the Ellsworth area most of their lives.
Fischer - 50th
Richard and Irene Fischer of rural Hudson will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Peace United Church of Christ in Hudson. Fischer and the former Irene Ohlrogge were married Oct. 11, 1953, at Radium Christian Church. Fischer is a farmer and Irene a retired school teacher and homemaker. Hosting this celebration were Eunice Adams of Stafford, Gayla, Stewart, Jeremiah, Reilly and Angela Duncan and Dale Fischer, all of rural Hudson. Peevyhouse - 50th
Bufford and Jean E. Marcirvin Peevyhouse will renew their wedding vows at a celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary set for 7 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, Fourth and Lincoln, in Hastings, Neb. The couple was married Dec. 6, 1953, in Fort Wayne, Ind. The renewal of their wedding vows is being held in conjunction with their grandson Gabryal Milhon’s wedding. Hosting the Peevyhouses celebration are their children, Annetta and Mike Milhon of Grand Island, Neb.; Gae and Jon Dickson of Odessa, Texas; Alice and Lew Grogan of Great Bend; and L.D. and Tina Peevyhouse of Hutchinson.
