Herman and Ileen Hanhardt will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Nov. 24, 2003 with a family dinner at a later date. Steadman - 50th
Bill and Wilma Steadman of Great Bend will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Nov. 22, 2003 with a reception from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Great Bend A dance will begin at 8 p.m. at the Great Bend American Legion. Steadman and the former Wilma Steitz were married Nov. 22, 1953, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Great Bend. He is an accountant and she is a homemaker. Hosts for the occasion will be their daughters and adult grandchildren. There children are Nancy Watkins, Rebecca Steadman and the late Kathy Fisher. They have eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to the reception and dance. The couple requests no gifts.
Van Pelt - 30th
Ryan and Ruth Van Pelt of of Great Bend celebrated their 30th Wedding Anniversary during a week long vacation to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Van Pelt and Ruth Knipp were married Oct. 20, 1973 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Scott City. They have two daughters. Debbie and her husband Joel Ellison live in Frisco, Colo., and Kelly who lives in Louisville, Ky.
