Bernard and Teresa Richstatter - 50th
Bernard and Teresa Richstatter of St. Marys will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. July 1 at the Senior Center, 403 W. Lasley in St. Marys.
Hosts will be their children, Bernie Richstatter, Topeka, and Mary and Steve Hyland, Des Moines, Iowa, and their grandson.
Mr. Richstatter retired in 1980 from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. after 30 years of service.
Mrs. Richstatter is a homemaker.
Marion and Donna Huxman - 50th
Marion and Donna Huxman of Topeka will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary as guests of honor at an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday in Fellowship Hall at First Southern Baptist Church, 1912 S.W. Gage.
Hosts will be their children, Melanie and Jim Hickok, Ulysses; and Mark Huxman, Wichita; and their grandson.
Donna Lott and Marion Huxman were married June 29, 1951, at the Methodist Church in Hill City.
Mr. Huxman retired in 1985 due to health problems. He worked 35 years in construction, including 13 years as a concrete finisher and 22 years as office manager.
Mrs. Huxman retired in 2000 as a fiscal officer after a 41-year career in state government. She worked for Kansas Grain Inspection, the Kansas Department of Revenue and the Kansas Corporation Commission.
John and Grace Ann Dunn - 10th
John and Grace Ann Dunn of Meriden will celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary with a hog roast and barbecue from 5 to 11 p.m. Saturday at their home, 7142 K-4 highway at Meriden, with dinner served at 6:30 p.m.
Those who plan to attend should bring a covered dish and lawn chairs, and should call to let the hostess know how many people plan to attend by calling (785) 484-2291. Festivities will including dancing, games, karaoke, and fireworks. Table service, dessert and drinks will be provided.
John E. Dunn and Grace Ann Hemme were married June 29, 1991, at Meriden.
They have five children and nine grandchildren.
Mr. Dunn is employed by Highland Millshop in Topeka, and Mrs. Dunn is employed by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas in Topeka.
