Roy and Lucrenia Dannevik of Centralia will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary on Friday with a card shower.
Mr. and Mrs. Dannevik were married Nov. 2, 1936.
Their two daughters and their husbands are Nancy and Bud Boston and Margaret Ann and Jerry Luebbe. The couple have five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Bud and Patsy Lawson - 50th

Charles K. "Bud" and Patsy L. Lawson of Topeka will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary as guests of honor at a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Highland Park United Methodist Church, S.E. 29th and Michigan.
Hosts will be their children and their spouses, their grandchildren and their daughter-in-law Kathy Lawson.
Charles K. Lawson and Patsy L. Hoehns were married Nov. 2, 1951, in the Methodist Church parsonage in Smithton, Mo.
Their children and their spouses are Kathy Lawson, Tecumseh, widow of their son, Charles "Chuck" Lawson, who died June 23, 1999; Carla and Tony Hazen, Berryton; Keith and Beth Lawson, Topeka; Kathy and Dave Self, Valley Falls; Kurt and Bev Lawson, Tecumseh; and Cheryl and Eric Wankum, Merriam.
The couple have 15 grandchildren.
Mr. Lawson retired in 1993 from Santa Fe Railway as a freight carman after 43 years of service.
Mrs. Lawson retired in 1993 from Topeka Public Schools food service after 24 years of service.
Dorothy and Melvin Jones - 55th

Melvin and Dorothy Jones of Topeka celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary with a dinner and trolley ride around Topeka on Saturday.
The occasion was hosted by their three children and their spouses, Bill and Viola Gehrke, Charlie and Roberta Galligher, and Wesley Jones, and by Mrs. Jones' sister and her husband, Shirley and Ron Hicks, all of Topeka. The couple have five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Melvin Jones and Dorothy Serene were married Oct. 18, 1946, in Yates Center. They met in Iola after Mr. Jones returned from World War II after serving in the U.S. Navy for two years, and while Mrs. Jones was attending school.
Mr. Jones retired after many years in construction.
Mrs. Jones retired from the Salvation Army and was a homemaker.
Since their retirement, they have enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends.
