Anna and Abe Ehret Jr. - 50th
Anna and Adolph "Abe" Ehret Jr. of Topeka will observe their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday.
Adolph Ehret Jr. and Anna Florine McDaniel were married Feb. 15, 1953, in Atchison.
Their daughters are Mona and Brad Brown, Mount Vernon, Mo., and Myra Innes, Auburn.
They have three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Mr. Ehret retired in 1983 from Southwestern Bell Telephone as a service technician.
Mrs. Ehret is a homemaker.
Barney and Arlyss Aldridge - 50th
Barney and Arlyss Aldridge of Topeka observed their 50th wedding anniversary on Feb. 4, 2003.
They plan to celebrate later with family and friends.
They were married Feb. 4, 1953, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Salina.
Their two sons and their wives are Dee and Pam Aldridge, Cheyenne, Wyo., and Marc and Stefani Aldridge, Fort Wayne, Ind.
They have five grandchildren.
Mr. Aldridge served in World War II in the European Theater.
He retired in 1987 as state Veterans of Foreign Wars adjutant quartermaster after 21 years of service.
He also owned a cabinet shop in Salina.
Mrs. Aldridge is a retired cosmetologist.
Robert and Barbara Hinchsliff - 50th
A reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Feb. 16 at Oakland Presbyterian Church, 2810 N.E. Thomas, will honor Robert and Barbara Hinchsliff of Berryton in celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary.
Hosts will be their family and friends.
Robert Hinchsliff and Barbara Eyth were married Feb. 14, 1953, at Euclid Methodist Church in Topeka.
Their four children and spouses are Tom and Lori Hinchsliff, Fairbanks, Alaska; Don and Lisa Hinchsliff, Overland Park; Ben and Donna Hinchsliff, Manhattan; and Sharron and James Coon, Plano, Texas.
The couple have eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Mr. Hinchsliff retired in 1991 from Custom Combining and construction.
Mrs. Hinchsliff retired in 1987 after 15 years of service as a teacher at Holliday Junior High School and Topeka High School.
