Clayton and Betty Bowman - 60th
Clayton and Betty Bowman, Topeka, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a reception for invited guests at the Capitol Plaza Hotel.
Hosts will be their children.
Betty Hill and Clayton Bowman were married Oct. 2, 1943, in Topeka.
Their three daughters and sons-in-law are Ann and Bob Longwell, Hagerstown, Md.; Dana and Larry Hahn, Topeka; and Jeri and Mike Dennis, Grand Prairie, Texas.
The Bowmans have five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Mr. Bowman retired from the U.S. Air Force Dec. 31, 1981, after 40 years of service.
Mrs. Bowman is a homemaker and artist.
Peggy and Don DeMoss - 60th
Don and Peggy DeMoss, Topeka, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a family dinner Nov. 29, 2003 in Wichita.
Peggy Werth and Don DeMoss were married Dec. 1, 1943, in Wichita.
Their sons and their wives are Dave and Sally DeMoss, Girard, and Alan and Bonnie DeMoss, Newton. They have five grandchildren.
Mr. DeMoss retired in 1984 from Santa Fe Railway in Emporia as assistant to the superintendent after 39 years of service.
Mrs. DeMoss is a homemaker.
Gary and Barbara Boyd
Gary and Barbara Boyd, Topeka, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner.
Barbara Armstrong and Gary Boyd were married Dec. 8, 1953, in Omaha, Neb.
Their children are Steve and Sandra Boyd, Topeka, and Doug Boyd, Topeka.
They have two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Mr. Boyd is in his 35th year as the owner of Boyd Auto Service.
Mrs. Boyd is a homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother.
