Keith and Patricia Smulling - 50th
Keith and Patricia Smulling, Osage City, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a trip to the Missouri Ozarks.
Patricia Guy and Keith Smulling were married Feb. 14, 1954, in Osage City.
Mr. and Mrs. Smulling have lived in Osage City for about 22 years.
For 28 years they lived in the Miller area in Lyon County, where for 19 years they owned and lived on the farm southwest of Miller that had belonged to Mr. Smulling's parents.
Mr. Smulling retired in 1996 from the City of Osage City, where he had been employed for 43 years.
Mrs. Smulling retired in 1998. She had been employed by the city, county, state and federal governments and for seven years she co-owned the Mode O'Day women's shop in Osage City.
The couple would enjoy hearing from friends.

Richard and Arlene Scott - 60th
Richard and Arlene Scott, Topeka, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary at home with their family on Feb. 15, 2004.
Richard Scott and Arlene Riley met at the Crescent Ballroom in Seattle while Mr. Scott was serving in the U.S. Navy.
They were married Feb. 11, 1944, in Reno, Nev.
Their two sons and their wives are Michael and Cheryl Scott, Topeka, and Patrick and Joan Scott, Alma.
Jim and Barbara Decker - 50th
Jim and Barbara Decker, Topeka, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Feb. 15, 2004 in the parish hall at St. Matthew Catholic Church in Topeka.
Mr. and Mrs. Decker were married Feb. 19, 1954, at Holy Name Catholic Church in Topeka.
The Rev. John Stitz officiated.
The couple have four children, six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one deceased great-grandchild.
