Pete and Kay Foster - 40th

Pete and Kay Foster, Topeka, will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary at a reception from 1:30 to 4 p.m. April 4, 2004 at the Community Building in Hoyt.

Hosts will be their children, Scott and Kelli Foster and Shelley and David Duffey, and grandsons Trey and Trent Duffey, all of Topeka.

Larry Pete Foster and Saundra Kay Miller were married April 5, 1964, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Topeka.

Mr. Foster has owned and operated Diamond Printing Service in Topeka for 32 years.

Mrs. Foster has been the bookkeeper for her husband's business as well as a homemaker and mother.

Chuck and Ann Herbig - 50th

Chuck and Ann Herbig, of Liebenthal, formerly of Topeka, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at a reception March 27 in Olathe.

Hosts were their children, Craig and Kelly Dessel, Hays, and Kim Smith, Kansas City, Kan., and their 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Ann Good and Chuck Herbig were married March 28, 1954, at West Side Baptist Church in Topeka.

Cards may be sent to them at P.O. Box 103, Liebenthal, 67553.

Alfred and Fern TenEyck - 50th

Alfred and Fern TenEyck, Alma, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. April 4 at Alma Community Center.

The couple were married April 5, 1954, in Alta Vista.

Reception hosts will be their three children and spouses, Nancy and Ray Songs, Wamego; Alfred Jr. and Cheryl TenEyck, St. Marys; and Dean and Marie TenEyck, Alma.

Also hosting will be their grandchildren, Tina and Larry McIntyre, Justin and Amber TenEyck, Shannon TenEyck, Scott TenEyck, Joshua TenEyck, Ashley TenEyck, Alicia TenEyck, and their five great-grandchildren, Bryant Songs, Lucas McIntyre, Elizabeth McIntyre, Gabriel TenEyck and Cameron TenEyck.

The couple moved to Alma in 1956.

Mr. TenEyck worked for the county for 43 years and retired in 2000.

Mrs. TenEyck worked out of their home for 20 years in child care and worked for 10 years as a cook at Alma Grade School.

She retired in 1997.
