Harry and Juanita Turvey, Topeka, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary as guests at a worship service at First United Methodist Church in Fort Worth, Texas, where they were married on June 5, 1954.
Their daughters and their husbands are Blinda and Kelley Bowin, Osage City, and Cindy and Lonny Wagner, Topeka.
They have three granddaughters, Jamie Wagner, Emporia State University; Lisa Wagner, Topeka; and Jenny Bowin, Osage City; and a step-grandson, Travis Bowin and his wife, Kelli, Topeka.

John and Venona Bergmeier, Topeka, will celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary at an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. today at First Southern Baptist Church, S.W. 19th and Gage.
Venona Robertson and John Bergmeier were married June 16, 1984, in Topeka.
Their children are Kay and Larry Rute, Topeka; Brian and Cherie Bergmeier, Greeley, Colo.; Roy and Kris Robertson, Tulsa, Okla.; and Vickie and John Kelly, Auburn.
They have nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
