Kristy Koelsch and Nathan Magee were married on May 21, 2004 at Grace United Methodist Church in Emporia.
Rev. Mic McGuire officiated the double ring ceremony.
Parents of the couple are Ron and Debbie Koelsch of Great Bend and Richard and Patty Magee of Fort Scott.
Grandparents of the couple are June Koelsch of Great Bend and the late Victor Koelsch, Vince and Marge Bauman of Shawnee, Leon and Shirley Culbertson and Charles and Darlene Magee all of Fort Scott.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a strapless corset lace-up gown, in diamond white with light pink Swarvoski crystals along the bodice neckline, cascading down the front of the satin A-line skirt.
The cut away skirt was embellished with a unique embroidery and beaded floral design consisting of crystals and beads on the back and down to the chapel length train.
Her sheer fingertip length veil featured a satin corded edge and was held in place by a crystal and pearl tiara.
The bride carried a nosegay of white and pale pink roses to compliment the gown.
Christina Jarchow of Newton served as matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were April Kerbs, Whitney Smith, Crystal Rangel, all from Emporia, and Amanda Morningstar, Florida.
They all wore floor length, two-piece strapless gowns in Victorian lilac with an asymmetrical bodice and A-line skirts.
They carried white lilies and purple hydrangea.
Nick Magee of Fort Scott, brother of the groom, served as best man.
The groomsmen were Joe Thomas of Emporia, Jordan Collins of Fort Scott, Steve Knight of Norman, Okla., and Aaron Kennedy of Emporia, who could not be there due to a call of duty in Kuwait.
Savannah Rangel of Emporia was the flower girl.
Adin Hite of Lansing, cousin of the groom was the ring bearer.
Candlelighters were Natalie Magee of Fort Scott, sister of the groom, and Sarah Schwartz of Great Bend.
Ushers were Josh Koelsch of Great Bend, brother of the bride; Chris Larsen, Jiten Lad, Adam Hull, and Chris Leach of Fort Scott and Jason Smith of Emporia.
Music was provided by Melinda Schick of Emporia.
The bride is a 2000 graduate of Great Bend High School and a 2004 graduate of Emporia State University with a degree in theatre.
She is currently a bridal consultant at Madelynn's in Emporia.
The groom is a 2001 graduate of Fort Scott High School and will be a senior at Emporia State University in the fall, completing a degree in theatre.
The couple resides in Emporia.
