Patricia and Jesse Torrez - 35th
Jesse and Patricia Torrez, Topeka, will celebrate their 35th wedding anniversary with a family barbecue.
Patricia Clark and Jesse Torrez were married June 28, 1969, at St. Rose Catholic Church in Great Bend.
Their family includes Jeff and Signe Torrez, Merriam, and Christiana Torrez, Topeka.
They have two granddaughters, Courtney and Erica Torrez, Merriam.
Thomas S. and Marilyn Vittitow Sr. - 50th
Mr. and Mrs. Thomas S. Vittitow Sr., of Topeka, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 7, 2004.
Marilyn J. Veltman and Thomas S. Vittitow were married Aug. 7, 1954, at Sacred Heart Catholic Cathedral in Salina.
Mr. Vittitow is originally from Coos Bay, Ore.
The Vittitows have three children: Ann M. Vittitow, of Wichita; Thomas S. Vittitow Jr. and his wife, Janet, of Wichita; and Susan R. Rice and her husband, Tom, of San Antonio.
Joanne and Lee Stanley - 50th
Lee and Joanne Stanley, Ozawkie, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at the 4 p.m. Mass July 31, 2004 at Assumption Catholic Church, 204 S.W. 8th in Topeka, followed by a reception afterward in the church parish hall.
Lee Stanley and Joanne Treiber were married July 31, 1954, at Assumption Catholic Church in Topeka.
Their children and spouses are Doug and Sheryl Stanley, Goddard; David Stanley, Oskaloosa; Brenda and Terry Lister, Topeka; Susie Grey, Valley Falls; Mark Stanley, Topeka; Kellie and Les Puderbaugh, Topeka; and Scott and Wendi Stanley, Ozawkie.
