Jim and Jan Preisner, Topeka, celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary at a reception hosted by their children July 24, 2004 in the VIP Lounge at Petro Allied Health Center at Washburn University.
Jim Preisner and Jan Kidwell were married July 19, 1979, in Colorado Springs, Colo.
Their children and spouses are Jimmy Preisner, Olathe; Jeff Preisner, Topeka; Craig Preisner, Olathe; Sheri and Douglas Cafer, Topeka; and Tom and Jeryn Palenske, England.
Dick and Linda Laird - 40th
Dick and Linda Laird, Topeka, observed their 40th wedding anniversary on July 19, 2004.
Linda Ostermann and Dick Laird were married July 19, 1964, in Sylvan Grove.
Their four children and spouses are Matt and Tracy Laird, Topeka; Aaron and Reneé Laird, Elmhurst, Ill.; Shannon and Shawn Patrick, Lee's Summit, Mo.; and Lindsey Laird, Topeka. The Lairds have two grandchildren.
Marcina and Cletus Haverkamp - 50th
Cletus and Marcina Haverkamp, of rural Seneca, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with Mass at 10 a.m. Aug. 8, 2004 at St. Bede's Catholic Church in Kelly, followed by a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Windmill Inn in Seneca.
A dinner for invited guests will follow the Mass.
