The bride is the daughter of Theodosia and Wilber Douglas Jr. of Topeka and the granddaughter of Neva Douglas Tucker of Topeka.
The bridegroom's parents are Lois Slachowitz of Greenwich, Conn., and the late Albert Slachowitz.
Lori Patterson, Dallas, was maid of honor. Peter Gabriel, Stamford, Conn., was best man.
A reception followed at the Kittle House Inn.
The bride is a graduate of Topeka High School and Washburn University with a bachelor's degree in sociology and Carnegie-Mellon University in Pittsburgh with a master's degree in business administration and financial management.
She is the marketing manager for GE Capital in Stamford, Conn.
The groom is a graduate of Greenwich High School and attended Southern Connecticut State University at New Haven.
He is an account executive for Southern Connecticut Newspapers Inc. in Stamford.
After a honeymoon trip to St. Lucia in the West Indies, the newlyweds live in Stamford.
