Humar-Gunther
Jennifer Humar and Chad Gunther were united in marriage July 29, 2000, at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Kansas City, Mo. Deacon Mike Lewis officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Suzanne Ashcraft of Bayport, Minn., and Mike Humar of Kansas City, Mo. She is the granddaughter of Vivian Humar and Robert and Helen Sterling, all of of Kansas City, Mo.
The bridegroom is the son of Donna Gunther of Topeka and the late Charles Gunther.
Julie Humar, Kansas City, Mo., was maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Jeannie Bestgen, Kansas City, Mo.; Melissa Davis, Phoenix; Colette Quigley, Tampa, Fla.; Kelly Scavuzzo, Kansas City, Mo.; and Rosetta Conforti, Kansas City, Mo.
Brad Garlinghouse was best man. The groomsmen were Trevor Gunther, Kansas City, Mo.; Randall Davis, Phoenix; Troy Benson, Chicago; and Jason Hoffman and Damon Whisman, both of Topeka.
The flower girl was Allison Barone, Avon, Conn., and the ring bearer was Johnny Joe Conforti, Kansas City, Mo. The ushers were Phil Hoehn, St. Louis; Ladd Hubka, Highlands Ranch, Colo.; Chris Moore, St. Louis; Paul Pritchard, Atlanta; and Don Yochum, Newport Beach, Calif.
Music was provided by vocalist Lorenzo Johnson, organist John Winkels and trumpeter Gary Richmond. Kim Gunther was the reader and the bride's personal attendant.
A reception followed at the Hyatt Regency Hotel at Crown Center.
The bride is a graduate of North Kansas City High School and the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She is an elementary school teacher.

After a honeymoon trip to Hawaii, they reside in San Francisco.
