Ross - Grutsch
The Colonial Church in Prairie Village was the setting for the wedding of Michelle Christine Ross and Jeffery William Grutsch on Sept. 16, 2000.
The Rev. George Tormohlen officiated at the 4:30 p.m. service.
The bride is the daughter of Linda Hoffman of Olathe and granddaughter of Harold and Venice Facklam of rural Junction City.
The bridegroom is the son of Judy Grutsch of Topeka and Michael Grutsch of Oxford, Neb., and grandson of Lorene Peterson of Topeka.
The bride was escorted and given in marriage by her brother, Todd Ross.
Michelle Ross was matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Christine Russell, cousin of the bride, and Krista Mobley, Jamie Gardner, Nancy Schlobohm and Danelle Wilson.
Michael Grutsch Jr. was best man. The groomsmen were Daniel Leibhart, Johnny Pankonin, Bryan Hamilton, Steve McMahan and Doug Gardner.
The flower girl was Landrie Silvester. Colton Grutsch, nephew of the groom, was the ring bearer. The unity candle was presented by Derek Grutsch, nephew of the groom. Brennon Ross, nephew of the bride, was the bell ringer.
The ushers were Brandon Jameson, cousin of the bride, Shane Briggs, Joey Bazin and Jeff LeSuer.
A reception followed at Deer Creek Golf Club in Overland Park.
The bride is a graduate of Shawnee Mission West High School in Overland Park, Kansas State University with a bachelor's degree in biology, and Rockhurst College in Kansas City, Mo., with a master's degree in occupational therapy. She is an occupational therapist at Kansas Rehabilitation Hospital.
The groom is a graduate of Chase County High School in Imperial, Neb. He is an electrical journeyman for Current Electric in Topeka.
After a wedding trip to Las Vegas, the newlyweds are at home in Maple Hill.
