Kelly Haynes of Overland Park, daughter of Charles and Marilyn Haynes of Great Bend, and Bryan Dahl of Overland Park, son of Larry and Karen Dahl of Overland Park, were united in marriage on June 5, 2004.
The double ring ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Larry Keller at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church in Overland Park.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an English crystal-beaded net over a satin A-line gown embellished with pearls, crystals and sequins.
The cap sleeves and hemline were accented with a banding of beadwork.
The back bodice featured satin covered buttons to the floor.
The court neckline with crystal trim and semi-cathedral train completed the elegant look.
The bride’s bouquet was a mix of pale pink and cream roses with a pearl spray and a satin wrapped handle.
The matron of honor was Kimberly Heath, sister of the bride, of Great Bend.
She wore a navy blue dress with a portrait collar.
The satin-wrapped bodice was accented with rhinestone buttons and featured a floor length crepe A-line skirt.
The best man was Brian Stallons of Overland Park.
Others in the wedding party included the flower girl, Ashtin Heath, niece of the bride; ring bearers, Kary Heath and Patrick Heath, nephews of the bride; candle lighters, Dana Haynes, sister-in-law of the bride, Krista Ogle, cousin of the bride; ushers, Chuck Haynes Jr., brother of the bride and Dan Heath, brother-in-law of the bride.
Musicians included David Gish, organist, and Janette Harrison, vocalist.
The bride is a graduate of Hoisington High School and the University of Kansas with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and accounting and a master’s degree in accounting and information systems.
She is a tax senior associate employed by KPMG LLP in Kansas City, Mo.
The groom is a graduate of Shawnee Mission South High School.
He owns and operates a technology brokering company, specializing in computer and telecom equipment.
The couple reside in Overland Park.
