She is the granddaughter of Norman and Leona Thonen of Powhattan and Ralph and Marge Davis of Monett, Mo.
The bridegroom is the son of James and Deborah Gebhardt of Leavenworth and the grandson of Ruth Posterski of Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada, and Marvin and Ellen Gebhardt of Jamestown, N.D.
Rebecca Thornton, Scranton, was maid of honor, and Spicey Thornton, Scranton, was the bridesmaid.
Scott Hagemeister, Manhattan, was his brother-in-law's best man.
The groomsman was Blaine McCartney, Scranton, brother of the bride.
The flower girls were Katie and Heather Waller of Overbrook.
Tyler Thornton, Scranton, was the ring bearer.
Serving as candlelighters and ushers were Stan Heyne Jr., Topeka, and Justin Wright, Osage City.
The guest book attendants were Diana Hylton and Lauren Hylton of Overbrook.
Music was provided by organist Tanya Fraker, soloist Diane Harries, and accompanist Mark Harries.
A reception followed at the Resource Center for Independent Living in Osage City.
The bride is a graduate of Santa Fe Trail High School at Carbondale and Allen County Community College in Burlingame with an associate degree in sociology.
She is a legal secretary in the Osage County Attorney's Office in Lyndon.
The groom is a graduate of Leavenworth High School and Kansas State University with a bachelor's degree in sociology.
He is a deputy with the Osage County Sheriff's Department headquartered in Lyndon.
The newlyweds reside in rural Scranton.
