Greene - Vowinckel
Kristina Nichole Greene and Nathan Cole Vowinckel were united in marriage Sept. 30, 2000, at the Christian Church in Glen Elder.
Officiating at the 4 p.m. service was the Rev. Ryan Johnson.
The bride is the daughter of Joe and Joyce Greene of Carbondale.
The bridegroom is the son of Linda and Gene Mick and Bill and Marge Vowinckel, all of Glen Elder.
Becky Bachelor, Overbrook, was maid of honor and the bridesmaids were Catlin St. Clair, Topeka; Trisha Reling, Glen Elder; and Jennifer McCommond, Beloit.
Adam Vowinckel, Glen Elder, stood with his brother as best man.
The groomsmen were Travis Scott, Glen Elder, and Will Rothenberger and Josh Bowles, both of Beloit.
A reception and dance followed at the Captain's Quarters in Beloit.
The bride is employed by Attorney H. Kent Hollins in Topeka and the groom is employed by Ed Bozarth Chevrolet in Topeka.
After a honeymoon trip to Louisville, Ky., the newlyweds live in Carbondale.
