Parents of the bride are Chuck and Gerri Carper of La Crosse. Parents of the groom are Dennis and Ellen Fischer of Great Bend. The bride was given in marriage by her parents. Donna Cape of Great Bend, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Carrie Amerine and Lisa Pletcher, both of Great Bend. Chris Smee of Great Bend served as the best man. The groomsmen were Matt League and Brett Carper, both of Great Bend. Ushers were Dusty Allen of Lakewood, Colo., and Lloyd Lewis of Great Bend. Kaycee Smith, Emma Cape and Hadleigh Thorne, all of Great Bend, were the flower girls. Caleb Murphy of Claflin was the ring bearer Candle lighters were Edna Ruble and Frankie Keffer, both of Great Bend, Donna Fischer of Seward and Millie Ideker of La Crosse. Instrumental music was provided by Lori Underwood, pianist, and soloist was Andy Nelson, both of Great Bend. The bride is employed by Dillons as the manager of the video department. The groom is a deputy for the Barton County Sheriff’s Department. The couple make their home in Great Bend.
