Erin Elizabeth Harkness and Jeffery A. Sutton were united in marriage Oct. 27, 2001, at First Baptist Church in Topeka.
The Rev. Jessie Brown officiated at the 4 p.m. service.
The bride is the daughter of Karen Harkness and DeWitt Harkness, both of Topeka.
She is the granddaughter of Harold and Betty Worswick and DeWitt Harkness Sr., all of Topeka.
The bridegroom's parents are Joe and Deloris Sutton of Sedan. His grandmother is Alma Bainter, Grenola.
The bride's attendants were Heidi Hay, Kerstin Siley, Veronda Mourning, Jessica Fields and Hailey Sisco.
John Sutton was best man. The groomsmen were Steve Griffith, Chad Bottoroff, Todd Haraughty and Brad Bromich.
The flower girls were Laurel Sutton and Natasha Hutching. The ring bearer was Michael Sutton. Candles were lighted by Jana Sutton and Michelle Worswick.
Serving as ushers were Chad Harkness, Lane Steiner, Dan Vopat, Jody Sutton and Kurt Reid. The readers were Melissa Krug and Rennie McKinney.
A reception and dance followed at the Top of the Tower.
The bride is a graduate of Shawnee Heights High School, Washburn University with a bachelor's degree in exercise physiology, and The University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan., with a master's degree in physical therapy. She is a registered physical therapist at Providence Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan.
The groom is a graduate of Columbus Unified High School, Pittsburg State University with a bachelor's degree in business administration, and Washburn University School of Law with a juris doctor degree in law. He is an attorney with Barnett & Jamison Law Firm, Chtd., in Kansas City, Kan.
After a honeymoon to Cancun, Mexico, the newlyweds reside in Mission.
