Aimee Noel became the bride of Stephen Gerard in a 1:30 p.m. nuptial Mass Sept. 9, 2000, at St. Matthew's Catholic Church in Topeka.
The Rev. Phil Winklebauer officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Dale and Sharon Noel of Onaga. The bridegroom is the son of Jerry and Lea Gerard of Topeka.
Bobbie Martin, Olathe, was matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Amy Nelson Larson, Sand Springs, Okla.; Michelle Kufahl Herman, Wheaton; Carissa Stiefel, Overland Park; and Heather Sumner, Manhattan.
Patrick Duerksen, Iowa City, Iowa, was best man. The groomsmen were Jason Stoops, Topeka; Jay Kilpatrick, Blue Springs, Mo.; Mark Schneider, Prairie Village; and Lance Carter, Fort Scott.
A reception followed at Aboud's at Western Hills Golf Course.
The bride is employed by Capitol Federal Savings & Loan Association in Overland Park.
The groom is a teacher at Piper High School.
The newlyweds live in Overland Park.
