Dreier - Gish
Angela Dreier of Hesston and Jeremy Gish of Abilene were united in marriage at 6 p.m. Sept. 30, 2000, at Highland Trinity United Church of Christ in rural Newton.
Officiating at the double-ring ceremony were the Rev. Paul Wilke and the Rev. Lyle Albright.
The bride is the daughter of Vern and Jeanne Dreier of Hesston. The groom is the son of Dan and Jeannie Gish of Topeka and Dave and Elaine Huscher of Abilene.
Joanna Dreier, Hesston, was her sister's maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Jenn Wieland, Chicago; Libby Spencer, Lawrence; and Holly Oakman, Denver.
Todd Gish, Valley Falls, was his brother's best man. The groomsmen were Duane Randle, Topeka; Tony Bowell, Salina; and Todd Schmutz, Abilene.
Sydney Gish, niece of the groom, was the flower girl.
A reception was at the McPherson Country Club with LeRoy and Sandra Dreier of Newton and Stew and Linda Etherington of Abilene serving as hosts.
The bride is a graduate of Hesston High School and Bethel College, Newton. She is a social worker for the Kansas Children's Service League in Topeka.
The groom is a graduate of Abilene High School and Kansas State University. He is an English teacher and volleyball coach at Jefferson County North High School in Winchester.
After a wedding trip to Stroudsburg, Pa., the newlyweds are at home in Valley Falls.
