Sarah Hertlein and Matthew Basaldua exchanged marriage vows at 1 p.m. Oct. 21, 2000, in Heritage Hall at the Kansas Expocentre in Topeka.
The Rev. George Bardsley officiated.
The newlyweds' parents are Richard and Norma Hertlein and Rudy and Vicki Basaldua, all of Topeka.
Dawn Yonke was matron of honor. Renee Basaldua was the bridesmaid.
Cliff Sanders was best man and Andy Wroth was the groomsman.
A reception followed in Heritage Hall.
The bride is employed as a receptionist for Drs. Hamilton and Wilson.
The groom is employed by UCB Films at Tecumseh as a finishing operator.
The newlyweds honeymooned in Corpus Christi, Texas.
They live in Topeka.
