Christy Osier and Artur Oczko exchanged marriage vows in a 1:30 p.m. nuptial Mass Feb. 9, 2002, at St. Matthew's Catholic Church in Topeka.
The Mass was celebrated by the Rev. Patric Riley.
The bride is the daughter of John and Cathy Osier, Topeka, and the granddaughter of Merlin and Darlene Nieman, Topeka.
The bridegroom is the son of Andrzej and Bogumila Oczko, Grandview, Mo., and the grandson of Irena Oczko, Zywiec, Poland.
Dara Cavanaugh was matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Natalie Wonnell, Mandy Powell; Maria Oczko, sister of the groom; and Stephanie Osier and Heather Osier, sisters-in-law of the bride.
Anthony Scollieri was best man.
The groomsmen were David Wonnell, Chad Kuntz, Shaun O'Brien, and the bride's brothers, Tim Osier and Mark Osier.
The junior bridesmaid was Megan Osier, niece of the bride. Tyler Campbell, nephew of the bride, was the ring bearer.
The readers were Maria Oczko, sister of the groom, and Tony Scollieri.
Tim Osier and Mark Osier were the ushers. The vocalists were Chad Kuntz, Marcy Brennen and Darren Dalrymple.
A reception followed at the Woman's Club of Topeka.
The bride is a graduate of Shawnee Heights High School and the Community College of Cosmetology.
She is a cosmetologist at Great Clips in Topeka.
The groom is a graduate of Grandview (Mo.) High School and Washburn University with a bachelor's degree in political science.
He is a bartender at Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar in Topeka.
The newlyweds honeymooned at Playa del Carmen, Mexico. They live in Topeka.
