Traci Helen Fritz and Curtis Ray Havenstein
First Presbyterian Church in Topeka was the setting for the wedding of Traci Helen Fritz and Curtis Ray Havenstein on Feb. 23, 2002.
Officiating at the 6 p.m. service was the Rev. Jan Nolting-Carter.
The bride is the daughter of Melvin D. Fritz, Topeka, and the late Nancy Kay Fritz. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lowell E. Benge, Mesa, Ariz., and Dorothy Fritz, Falls City, Neb.
The bridegroom is the son of Bill and Judy Havenstein, Alma, and the grandson of Roberta Berroth, Alma.
The bride's attendants were Carla Bolden, Kendra Jacobs, Jennifer Fizer, Tami Sterling, Angie Baker and Stephanie Janssen.
Attending the groom were Joel Frank as best man and Otto Anderson, Brian Litke, Travis Havenstein, Don Frank and Todd Fritz as groomsmen.
The flower girls were Sarah Fritz, Hailey Havenstein and Hope Havenstein.
The ring bearer was Sawyer Havenstein.
Candles were lighted by Wendy Fritz and Amy Havenstein.
The ushers were Jeff Frank, Arlan Miller, Jimmy Diepenbrock and Doug Frank.
Stacy Diehl was at the guest book.
The gift attendants were Shelly Henry and Jenny Frank.
Programs were given to the guests by Nancy Matzke, Angie Bachelor and Susan Bullock.
Bells were given to the guests after the service by Mayci Fizer, Tayler and Shelby Lyons and Kelsee and Morgan Henry.
A candle was lighted in memory of the bride's mother by Bonnie Doll.
The vocalists were Justin Frank, Katie Owen and Vicki Owen.
Jennifer Frank and Kristy Konrade were the bride's personal attendants.
The wedding coordinators were Hannah Brady and Paula Ellis.
A reception followed at the Kansas Museum of History.
The reception hostesses were Jill Bricker, Jenny Piper, Crystal Mayer and Jannelle Schultz.
The bride is a graduate of Washburn Rural High School and Washburn University with a bachelor's degree in nursing.
She is a registered nurse at the Endoscopy Center of Topeka.
The groom is a graduate of Wabaunsee High School, Alma, and attended Independence Community College.
He is a journeyman-lineman for Kaw Valley Electric Cooperative Inc. in Topeka.
The newlyweds honeymooned at Orlando and Cocoa Beach, Fla.
They reside in Maple Hill.
