Kallie Renee’ Hageman and Dennis Dean Burgardt II were united in marriage June 26, 2004 at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Salina. Pastor Leroy Pralle officiated the double ring ceremony. Parents of the couple are Bruce and Teresa Hageman of Abilene and Dennis and Janet Burgardt of Great Bend. Grandparents of the bride are Gene and Marie Heckel of Alden and Elvie Hageman of Leonardville. Esther Burgardt of Great Bend is the grandmother of the groom. The bride wore a spaghetti strap gown with beading and embroidered empire waist. The low cut back had illusion lace, pleating and bead accents flowing down the train. The same beaded embroidery was carried around the hemline to the semi-cathedral train. The bride held a cascading bouquet of white stargazer lilies, mixed with sterling silver roses, and accented with lavender heather Holly Lyne of Abilene was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Shanna Hageman, Morgan Bonnell and Rachel Ira. The bridesmaids wore Victorian lilac floor-length silk gowns fashioned with a white halter-style neckline. They all carried bouquets of lavender hydrangea centered with a white stargazer lily edged in sterling silver roses with silver braided ribbon accenting the stems. Dianna Lange was the bride's personal attendant. Jay Christensen of Kansas City was best man. Groomsmen were Josh Morris, Marshall Hageman, brother of the bride, and Dustin Burgardt, brother of the groom. Jeff Olin, Mark Rundell, and Doug Dellinger served as ushers. Carly Slimm, cousin of the groom, served as candle lighter. Music was provided by Kim Simpson, soloist, Elizabeth Jefferies, pianist and Janine Schaich, organist. Scripture reader was Carol Dellinger. The bride graduated from Abilene High School, and the University of Kansas, Medical Center with a bachelor’s degree in health information management. She is employed at ComCare PA in Salina. The groom graduated from Great Bend High School and MATC Vocational with a degree in building trades. He is employed by Hi-Tech Interiors. The couple resides in Abilene.
