The Rev. George L. Cotton officiated at the 6 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Ada Wilson, Topeka, and the late Robert Wilson.
She is the granddaughter of Farrie Smith, DeKalb, Texas.
The bridegroom is the son of Vernon Jean Jackson, Richmond, Va., and Anthony Patton, Sacramento, Calif.
He is the grandson of Wilbert and Leana Russel, Topeka.
Robin Bryant was matron of honor.
Also attending the bride were Robin Bryant, Ada Wilson, mother of the bride, and Londell Jackson.
John R. Patton was best man.
Also attending the groom were John Patton and Zanaida Patton.
A reception in Topeka will honor the couple on June 28.
The bride is a graduate of Highland Park High School and attended Washburn University.
She is self-employed as a home day care provider.
The groom is a graduate of Topeka High School.
He is employed at the Kansas Neurological Institute as a mental retardation technician.
A dinner and dance for invited guests will be June 28.
The newlyweds honeymooned in Las Vegas.
They reside in Topeka.
