Robin Nell Bentz and Stephen Lawrence Wolgast were united in marriage at 4 p.m. June 7, 2003, in St. James Chapel at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in Manhattan, N.Y.
The Rev. Thomas P. Miller officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Edward S. and Mary Jane Bentz, St. Petersburg Beach, Fla.
The bridegroom is the son of Larry and Anita Wolgast, Topeka.
A dinner reception was at the New Leaf Café, Fort Tryon Park, near the Cloisters.
A reception in Topeka will honor the couple in late June and will be hosted by the groom's parents.
The bride is a cum laude graduate of Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.
She is a major gifts officer in the development office for an AIDS service organization in Manhattan, N.Y.
The groom is a news design editor at the New York Times.
He is a graduate of Kansas State University and Columbia University with a master's degree in journalism.
He interned and later was a photographer for The Topeka Capital-Journal from November 1990 to August 1991.
In 1992, he spent a year in Tallin, Estonia, as a reporter on the staff of an English-language newspaper.
He later worked at the Times-Picayune in New Orleans and at the Akron (Ohio) Eagle Beacon.
The couple became engaged in October 2002 at Glengorm Castle on the Isle of Mull, Scotland.
After a wedding trip to Italy, the newlyweds are at home in New York City.
