Schwartz - Gregg
Countryside United Methodist Church in Topeka formed the setting for the wedding of Shannon Schwartz and Kevin Gregg on Oct. 26, 2002.
The Rev. Paul B. Mitchell officiated at the 5 p.m. service.
The bride is the daughter of Richard and Connie Schwartz, Topeka, and the granddaughter of Norma Ballard, Topeka, and Bea Schwartz, Topeka.
The bridegroom is the son of Don and Deanna Gregg, Jewell, and the grandson of Glenn and Dora Titsworth, Granbury, Texas.
Stacey Meier was her sister's matron of honor.
The bridesmaids were Diana Berroth and Allyson Crick.
David Wonnell was best man.
The groomsmen were David Bohm and Scott Bolley.
Brenna Morrissey was the flower girl. Preston Stanley was the ring bearer. Hunter Meier, nephew of the bride, was the junior ring bearer.
The candlelighters were Jeremy Morris and Katie Morris, nephew and niece of groom.
The ushers were Chris Meier, brother-in-law of the bride; Jared Beam and Robert Bohm.
The readers were Keith Ballard, Claremore, Okla., uncle of the bride; Mary Ann Clark, Lakewood, Calif., great aunt of the bride.
Martha Badger was the bride's personal attendant.
Cari Habig was the soloist.
A reception followed at Hayden High School.
The bride is a graduate of Topeka West High School and Washburn University with a bachelor's degree in nursing.
She also attended The University of Kansas. She is pursuing a master's degree in business administration at Washburn University and is employed by the Cotton-O'Neil Clinic as a nurse associate in neurology.
The groom is a graduate of Jewell High School and Washburn University with a bachelor's degree in political science.
He is employed by the office of Rep. Jim Ryun, R-Kan., in Topeka as constituent services director.
The newlyweds honeymooned at Ocho Rios, Jamaica.
They live in Topeka.
