Emalie Manning and Matt Murdoch were married on Sept. 25, 2004 at hole number 7 Manhattan Country Club Golf Course. Thomas Berscheidt of Great Bend, performed the ceremony. Parents of the couple are John and Trudy Lund and Greg and Betty Manning all of Assaria and Robert and Judy Murdoch of Grants, N. M. Amy Myers and Reveca Galvan of Kansas City both served as maids of honor. The groomsmen were Brian Racette of Chicago, Ill. and Jeremy Higgins of Scottsdale, Ariz. Kara McCadden, cousin of the bride, was the flower girl. Camden Lund, nephew of the bride, was the ring bearer. Ushers were Joe Ranker and Josh Ranker, cousins of the bride. Music was provided by Jim and Janelle Lund, step-brother and sister of the bride. The bride graduated from Barton County Community College and the University of Kansas. She is employed as a medical technologist at Mercy Hospital in Manhattan. The groom graduated from Barton County Community College and Kansas State University. He is employed as an assistant golf pro at Manhattan Country Club. The couple makes there home in Manhattan.
