Grace Episcopal Cathedral in Topeka was the setting for the wedding of Kathryn Elisabeth Orr and Michael John Hester on Dec. 28, 2003.
The Very Rev. Steve Lipscomb officiated at the 3 p.m. service.
The bride is the daughter of Kenneth and Marlene Orr, Topeka.
Jack and Dianne Hester, Wellesley, Mass., are parents of the bridegroom.
Paige Orr, Los Angeles, was maid of honor. Kevin Fowler, Fayetteville, N.C., was best man.
Serving as ushers were Jack Hester, Ronald Hester and Brian Hester, all of Wellesley, Mass., and Albert de Leon, Kansas City, Mo.
A reception followed at Topeka Country Club.
The bride is a certified pediatric nurse practitioner.
She previously worked at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Mo.
The groom is a major serving in the U.S. Army in Seoul, South Korea, where the couple now reside.
