Berry - Clark
Village Presbyterian Church in Prairie Village formed the setting for the wedding of Alyson Leigh Berry and Bryce David Clark on Jan. 31, 2004.
Officiating at the 6:30 p.m. service were the Rev. James Congdon and the Rev. Gene Augustine.
The bride is the daughter of Ken and Aleda Berry, Topeka.
She is the granddaughter of Cleetis Berry, Topeka, and the late Rev. and Mrs. L.R. Amstutz, who lived in Whitewater.
The bridegroom is the son of Linda and Mark Marling, Topeka, and David and Jill Clark, Gurnee, Ill. He is the grandson of Alberta McPike, Jo Clark, and Charles and Betty Jo Marling, all of Topeka.
Lindsey de la Torre was maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Marisa Mohr, cousin of the bride; Lynn Auslander, Kelly Simpson and Joni Pro.
Devon Clark and Barry Clark stood with their brother as his best men. The groomsmen were Layne Berry, brother of the bride; Jeremiah Cripps and Mike Ashley.
Martha Franzen was the flower girl. The ring bearers were A.J. Felich and Nicolas Felich. The candlelighters were Mandy Marling and Shelley Pollak, sisters of the groom.
Daren Busenitz was the reader. The ushers were Brett Berry, brother of the bride, and Nick Marling, brother of the groom.
Maureen Brogren was the soloist. The organist was Dr. Roger Wischmeier.
A reception followed at the Top of the DoubleTree Hotel in downtown Kansas City.
The bride is a graduate of Topeka West High School, The University of Kansas with a bachelor's degree in nursing, and Duquesne University in Pittsburgh with a master's degree as a physician assistant. She is a cardiothoracic physician assistant at Mid-America Heart and Lung Surgeons, St. Luke's Hospital, in Kansas City, Mo.
The groom is a graduate of Topeka West High School and The University of Kansas with a bachelor's degree in computer science. He is a computer programmer at Mize, Houser & Co. in Overland Park.
After a honeymoon trip to Ocho Rios, Jamaica, the newlyweds are at home in Prairie Village.
