Compton - Burchett
Mrs. Jumi Rudio, 217 Dix Dr., has announced the engagement of her daughter, Cassandra Compton, to Clyde Burchett, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Burchett, 1440 University Dr.
The bride-to-be graduated from Manhattan High School and is a sophomore at KSU majoring in horticulture and accounting.
She received a Putnam scholarship.
Her fiance graduated from Manhattan High School and is a junior at KSU in agronomy.
He is employed by the KSU agronomy department.
A November 1978 wedding is planned at the First Christian Church.
