Tracy Dawn Manweiler and Guy Owen Shepheard were married in a double-ring ceremony Oct. 4, 2003.
The outdoor wedding was held in the Swan Garden of the Inverness Hotel in Englewood, Colo., with the Rev. Barbara Butler officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Paula and Gene Manweiler of Hoisington.
Grandparents are Ruby and Larry Manweiler of Hoisington and Sarah and Richard Simpson of Upatoi, Ga.
The groom is the son of Janice Shepheard of Bognor Regis, West Sussex, England.
The
groom’s grandparents are Edna and Jack Sadler, also of Bognor Regis.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a Demetrios champagne and café, matte satin strapless princess silhouette gown with delicate beading sprinkled on the bodice with lace appliqués.
The split back included a chapel-length train with a separate stole.
Her hair was adorned with a tiara.
The bride carried a bouquet of white roses and lilies with purple accents.
Her attendants wore light blue satin gowns with purple shear overlays.
Maid of honor was the bride’s sister, Brooke Manweiler of Hoisington.
Bridesmaid was Katrina Theiler of Minocqua, Wis., cousin of the bride.
Best man was Gavin Shepheard of Stoke, Staffordshire, England, brother of the groom.
Groomsman was Daniel Mace of Hove, Brighton, England.
They wore the traditional English Edwardian morning suite of black long tail jacket and black pin stripe trouser.
Flower girls were Rebekah and Rachel Manweiler, both cousins of the bride from Lawrence.
Assisting with gifts and programs were Hannah Smith of Minocqua, and Ashley Hilburn of Goddard, both cousins of the bride.
Music was provided by Pete Knippenberg of Manhattan and vocalist Melissa Tellier of Milwaukee, Wis.
Creative coordinator was Danah Schremmer of Topeka.
The bride is a graduate of Hoisington High School, attended the University of Kansas and DeVry University.
The groom is a graduate of Roehampton University, England, with a Bachelor of Science Honors Degree in Sociology and Social Science of Sport.
The couple reside in Denver, Colo.
