Alicia Therese Koster of Great Bend and Mathew Mark Enoch of Manhattan were united in marriage on July 31, 2004 at St Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Great Bend. Rev. Reggie Urban, Rev. Donald McCarthy, and the Rev. Kevin Larson officiated the Nuptial Mass double-ring ceremony. Parents of the bride are Larry and Jane Koster of Great Bend. Parents of the groom are Mike and Kathy Enoch of Manhattan. Grandparents of the bride are Geneva Winkel of Glen Elder and the late Francis Winkel and Rosemary Koster of Cawker City and the late Lawrence Koster. Grandparents of the groom are Maxine Enoch and the late Mark Enoch of Manhattan and Myron and Nancy Westgate of St. George. The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a white strapless A-line gown with a corset back and a white satin draped overlay. The front neckline was embellished with a floral beaded design made up of crystals, pearls, sequins, and ice-blue seed beads. Laura Koster, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jessica Barnes of Colorado, and Amanda Goodwin of Hays. They wore ocean-blue strapless A-line floor-length gowns. Kevin Enoch of Manhattan, brother of the groom served as bestman. Groomsmen were Jared Larson of Inman and Casey Steiner of Shawnee. Cousins of the bride, Autumn Vowinckel served as flower girl and Ethan Jay served as ring bearer. Andrew Koster, brother of the bride, and Lane Koster, cousin of the bride, served as altar servers and taper lighters. Kevin Enoch, Jared Larson, and Casey Steiner were ushers for the ceremony. Music was provided by Connie Schneweis of Great Bend, organist, and solos were given by Laura Koster and Chris Koster, sister and brother of the bride. The bride is a 2000 graduate of Great Bend High School and a 2004 graduate of Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in agriculture and major in park management and conservation, along with a secondary major in natural resources and environmental science. She is a substitute teacher in the Manhattan area. The groom is a 1997 graduate of Riley County High School and a 2001 graduate of Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in agriculture and a major in park resource management and a minor in leadership. He is pursuing his master’s degree in public administration at Kansas State University and working part time at the Kansas State University recreation center. The couple is making their home in Manhattan.
