Jenifer Lynn Irick and Clinton Thomas Scheck were united in marriage in a double-ring ceremony on Sept. 18, 2004 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Great Bend. Parents of the couple are Doug and Chris Sillin of Sterling, Mark and Mary Irick of Great Bend, Elaine Scheck of Great Bend and Tom Scheck of Great Bend. Grandparents of the couple are Verna and Alfred Arpin and the late Philip Desbien of Damar, Glenn and Pauline Irick of Great Bend, Marcella Klein of Hays and the late Sylvester Klein, and Evelyn Scheck of Russell and the late Bernard Scheck. Maid of honor was Samantha Irick of Lawrence, sister of the bride. Matron of honor was Jaclyn Dewey of Ellinwood, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Amanda Shepherd of Lyons, Andrea Strohl of Wichita and Jodie Desbien of Oklahoma City, Okla., cousin of the bride. Best man was Ben Scheck of Manhattan, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Ryan Fanshier of Northfield, Minn., Alan Heidrick of Manhattan, Chad Van Camp of Olathe and Wes Smith of Corona, Calif. Ring bearer was Ryan Nicholson of Great Bend and flower girl was Taylor Schiffelbein of Garden City, cousin of the bride. Candlelighters were Lauren Rupp and Sara Lizalde both of Hutchinson. The bride graduated from Great Bend High School, Barton County Community College and Sidney’s Hairdressing College. The groom graduated from Great Bend High School and Kansas State University. The couple resides in Middlebury, Ind.
