Erin Elizabeth Burns of Manhattan and Chad Alan VanCamp of Kansas City, Mo., were united in marriage Jan. 31, 2004 in a double-ring ceremony officiated by the Rev. Reggie Urban at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Great Bend.
She wore an elegant bridal white matte satin gown styled in a princess silhouette featuring a delicately beaded strapless bodice accented at the waist with a diagonal midriff wrap.
A mock wrap overlay edged in a band of intricate beading accented the slightly flared skirt, which swept into a sweep chapel train.
A fingertip illusion veil fell from a three-stranded headpiece.
She carried a bouquet of red roses, yellow, purple and orange Gerbers, wine hybericum and red berries.
It was accented with English ivy and red sheer streamers.
Parents of the couple are Tom and Kay Burns of Great Bend, Paul and Karen Hammans of Phoenix, Ariz., and Mark and Christie VanCamp of Keller, Texas.
Grandparents of the bride are Lois Brichacek and Clarence and Betty Burns, all of Great Bend.
Grandmother of the groom is Jennie Ueckert of Great Bend.
Maid of honor was Alli Burns of Great Bend, sister of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Brooke Heier of Manhattan, Danielle Dyes of Lawrence, Tera Dooley of Norfolk, Va., and Janea VanCamp of Wichita, sister of the groom.
They wore dark red sheer gowns featuring a draped neckline.
Best man was Travis Heier of Manhattan.
Groomsmen were Wesley Smith of Corona, Calif., Clint Scheck of Alexandria, Minn., Joel Price of Olathe and Logan Burns of Great Bend, brother of the bride.
Ushers were Ryan Fanshier of Henryville, Pa., Alan Heidrick of Manhattan, Brian Hughes of Lawrence and Ryan Koehler of Great Bend.
Flower girl was Kelsey Brichacek of Noblesville, Ind., cousin of the bride.

The bride is a 2000 graduate of Great Bend High School and a December 2003 graduate of Kansas State University with a bachelor’s degree in bakery science and management.
She is employed as a bakery technologist for Archer, Daniels, Midland in Olathe.
The groom is a 1998 graduate of Great Bend High School and a 2002 graduate of K-State with a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering.
He is an engineer for Honeywell Inc. of Kansas City, Mo.
