Andrea Laurinec, daughter of Richard and Michelle Laurinec of Park City, and Mike Riese, son of Terry and Joann Riese of Olmitz, were married on Oct. 16, 2004 at St. Ann’s Church in Olmitz. Father Murphy officiated the double-ring ceremony of holy matrimony. Grandparents of the bride are James F. and Lorraine Schneweis of Hoisington and Frank Laurinec of Dearborn, Mich. and the late Laura Laurinec. Grandparents of the groom are the late Joe and Anna Wondra of Burdett and Betty Riese of Grand Island, Neb. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a three-piece gown of pearl Duchess satin. It featured an off-the-shoulder embroidered corselet top with rocals, bugle beads and Swarovski crystals. The A-line skirt featured bands of embroidery to match the bodice and had a detachable train. She designed her own bouquet, which was pearl-colored lilies. Shayla Koochel of Albert served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Tiffany Gies and Laura Riese, the groom’s sister, both of Hays; Chandra Francis of Salina, cousin of the bride; and Lana Hardman of Central City, Neb. They wore two-piece eggplant-colored dresses with off-the-shoulder bodices and long full skirts. Jonathon Riese of Manhattan, brother of the groom, served as the best man. The groomsmen were Jason Haselhorst of Great Bend, Joel Hanhardt of Abilene, Patrick Riese of Hays, brother of the groom, and Gabe Hardman of Central City, Neb. Alyssa Johnson of Hoisington, the bride’s daughter, was the flower girl. Adam Laurinec of Park City, brother of the bride, was the ring bearer. Taper lighters were Katie Riese of Olmitz, sister of the groom, and Aaron Laurinec of Park City, brother of the bride. The bride is a graduate of North High in Wichita and Barton County Community College with an ADN in nursing. She is employed by the Russell Family Clinic as a registered nurse. The groom is a graduate of Otis-Bison High School. He is employed by Great Bend Feeding, Inc. as an animal health technician. The couple makes their home in Hoisington.
