Kami Christiansen and Gregory Jessop were united in marriage on July 17, 2004, at First United Methodist Church in Omaha, Neb. The Rev. Dana Bainbridge officiated the ceremony. Parents of the bride are David and Cindy Christiansen of McPherson. The groom is the son of Daniece Jessop of Keamey, Neb. Grandparents of the bride are L.C. and Darlene McDorman, and David and Beverly Christiansen, all of Great Bend. The bride wore a strapless diamond white gown by Maggie Soterro and was given into marriage by her father. Mary Billings of Omaha was the maid of honor. Brandon Jessop, the groom’s brother, of Keamey, Neb., served as the best man. The bride’s brothers Chad and Bret Christiansen, were ushers, and Rayna Samples and Rhonda Keamey, sisters of the groom, served as readers during the ceremony. Kami graduated in 2002 with a master’s degree in speech language pathology from the University of Nebraska at Kearney, and is currently working as a speech-language pathologist for the Papillion-La Vista Public School District. Gregory is a manager for the General Nutrition Center in Fremont, Neb., and a full-time secondary education student at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. The couple have made their home in Omaha, Neb.
