Shannon Scheideman, daughter of Brad and Rita Scheideman, and Andrew Peterson, son of Warren and Cheryl Peterson, were married on Sept. 25 at the First United Methodist Church in Great Bend. The Rev. Don Paden officiated the double-ring ceremony. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a peau satin gown with spaghetti straps, heavily beaded and appliquéd Battenburg lace bodice and train. An organza apron skirt was attached with peau satin rolled rose in back. The beaded crystal tiara sat atop the white waist-length veil with silver appliqué. The bride held a large bouquet of red roses, snow white saffron and gypsophila with elegant strings of pearls. Amanda Peterson served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Lisa Wright and Amber Scheideman. The bridesmaids all wore red floor-length chiffon dresses with a delicately beaded neckline. They held bouquets of red roses, snow white saffron, baby’s breath and elegant strings of pearls. Tom Fischer served as the best man. The groomsmen were Walter Bouse and John Mitchell. Kaycee Smith and Breanna Oberle were the flower girls. Dylan Mortimore was the ring bearer. Music was provided by Tom Fischer, vocalist. Ushers were David Scheideman and Chris Scheideman. Both the bride and the groom are employed by Wal-Mart. The couple makes their home in Great Bend.
