Christina Stude and Jeremy Staab of Great Bend were united in marriage on Sept. 18, 2004 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Great Bend with the Rev. Jim Strasen officiating the double- ring ceremony. Parents of the couple are Warren and Shirley Kenyon of Sterling, David Stude of Garfield and Mike and Arlana Staab of Great Bend. The bride, given in marriage by her fathers, wore a Private Label by G gown of white bridal satin, featuring a modified V-neckline long, tapered sleeves and a Basque waist. The back neckline formed a heart-shape accent with cascading pearl strands. The full skirt was enhanced with elaborately hand-beaded lace cutouts surrounding the hemline and dotting the skirt front and back. The skirt flowed into an extended cathedral-length train. Her head was adorned with a Princess Diana love knot tiara replica and an elbow-length single layer veil accented with rhinestones. Her bouquet was an arrangement of silk flowers in the colors of eggplant and silver with ivy accents. The bridesmaids wore Alfred Angelo gowns made of satin, crepe and crystal beading in the color of eggplant. The gown featured a satin princessline bodice embellished with crystal beading with spaghetti straps and an empire waist. The A-line skirt was floor length with asymmetrical pleated drape accent. The bridesmaids carried candles with flowing eggplant and silver ribbons. Carrie Haney of Larned served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Cara Bilyew of Manhattan and Misty Donecker and Megan Janke both of Great Bend. John Barber of Great Bend served as best man. The groomsmen were Travis Burhenn, Jason Causey and Tyler Peters, all of Great Bend. Micaelyn Haney of Larned served as miniature bride and Brayden Staab of Great Bend served as miniature groom. Accacia Pedigo of Great Bend served as flower girl and Phane Pedigo of Great Bend served as ring bearer. Ushers were Aaron Gerhardt and Hunter Hembree, both of Great Bend. Vocalists were Jodi Kenyon, Susan Clevenger and Kelly Boylan, all of Augusta. Lori Stickney played piano. The bride is a graduate of Barton County Community College with an associate’s degree. She is employed by Rube’s Inc. as an office administrator. The groom is employed by Kenosha Operating as a natural gas contractor.The couple makes their home in Great Bend.
